Women in the local entertainment industry

So my fellow readers, it's been a while since I last wrote to you. I am pleased today to share with you my the information I gathered while attending the Vukubone 2022 music conference at Mbabane. For your information, this is what I learnt on the first day of the conference. It's a pity most of the local artists didn't attend 😔.

Frankly, they missed a lot when it comes to intellectual property. This refers to the collection of rights of original content creators. Here they addressed the pending issue of the copyrights act of Eswatini. Truthfully, I have good news to every artist out there. Guys, I am glad to tell you; it's promising. Though it is still in motion but they promised that it won't be beyond three years, and artists are going to earning their royalties.

But, that's not the issue for today. Yesterday we were graced by the presence of prestigious women who are part of the entertainment industry in the country. In our midst was Ms Penny Bouwer, Zoe Genesis, Velemseni and the ACESWA president Ms Phetsile Masilela.

Due to time, I'd say they only touched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the significance of women in this industry. I am sure you all know the pros and cons of being a woman in this man dominated industry. They tried by all means to break it into ingestible bits and pieces.

If I were to dive deep into everything we discussed at the conference, I'd type for the whole day. For more information you can check their social media platforms. Just search for Vukubone 2022 music conference.

Let me step in for today's session. It's going to be yet another productive day. I wish you greatness my beloved.

Regards ♥️

Illest Rapper With Some Illest Moves!

Put some respect on the name Illa Penboy, I tell you! Only an arrogant person isn't aware of what the Phola Mshana hit maker is doing, because surely ignorance doesn't work here, these news force their way into your eardrums. Known for his heart for charity work. Illa Penboy amidst Covid-19 came up with a brilliant idea of donate bread with the intention of helping the needy, which is going pretty well. It hasn't been long since the Donate bread festival which featured KO and William Last KRM. And, now he's up and running with the 60's kuguga othandayo vintage nton nton.  Yeah, lyrically he is not dope. Maybe, if he can just quit rap and focus on being a promoter, an influencer and charity work, this country can go far.🤞 Guys, Umfana Wase Mpatheni emakhabishini is a true model of what a governing body in a society should look like. ❤

Let's Keep The Traditions!

The dawn of a democratic revolution is upon us. Like it or not that's the truth.  So, if it happens that the day arrives sooner than we have expected, what's gonna become of our culture and traditions?  I am a revolutionary, always has been, always will be, and I am for change just like the majority but I choose to keep it within my guts.  Back to today's business, I am here to share a view about the fate of our beautiful and beloved culture and traditions. Let's not get rid of them. It's the only thing we have. The only thing that makes us stand out from the rest of the world. With our culture and traditions, we are not just unique but exceptional👌,  outstanding, we are the best and more. We are our heritage. What will become of our toledoths? Stories aren't enough to narrate the story of my indegeneuity. Let's not fail them and our ancestors. If we choose to discard the current governing bodies, let's not dispose our humanity, and way of life. That...
