Research In The Music Industry.

Fellow artists, it goes without saying that relevance is the key in this industry.

Staying on top of your game is what we all need but it's hard. For simplicity, I am going to dwell on the significance of research in this beautiful industry of ours. It is the main key to relevance I believe.

Research changes perspective. It transits shortcomings to upcomings. It broadens what you already know, adding some weight to it thus making it sink into the listeners mind. Artists who lack curiosity can't be relevant. This is because in order to embark on a research journey one needs to be more interested in the subject matter.

Teach yourself the habit of superstars. Involvement. Involve yourself in societal proceedings like basketball games, musical concerts, etc. Buy tickets if need be. This will help you explore and find out what elements other artists use to cheer up crowds and add that ingredient to your craft.

Research makes you well versed on what's happening around you. Always keep yourself upto date. Social media is there for this. Investigate on new trends, challenges, etc and take part. You can sing about it or recite it, it's upto you.

Research brings about relevant punchlines as much as other poetical elements and figures of speech. Forced punchlines can be heard from miles away and actually they aren't funny.

Teach yourself how to express your feelings in way people can relate to. Language is complex. Even your mother tongue needs you to research about it.

Lastly, know what you're doing. Some artists know nothing about what they are actually doing. Research about the history of the category you are in so that you may know if you're now straying.

Research is an invisible UFO above a curious and determined human being. Without research, lies are the new truth, therefore as an artist avoid lying to your followers. Be relevant!

Illest Rapper With Some Illest Moves!

Put some respect on the name Illa Penboy, I tell you! Only an arrogant person isn't aware of what the Phola Mshana hit maker is doing, because surely ignorance doesn't work here, these news force their way into your eardrums. Known for his heart for charity work. Illa Penboy amidst Covid-19 came up with a brilliant idea of donate bread with the intention of helping the needy, which is going pretty well. It hasn't been long since the Donate bread festival which featured KO and William Last KRM. And, now he's up and running with the 60's kuguga othandayo vintage nton nton.  Yeah, lyrically he is not dope. Maybe, if he can just quit rap and focus on being a promoter, an influencer and charity work, this country can go far.🤞 Guys, Umfana Wase Mpatheni emakhabishini is a true model of what a governing body in a society should look like. ❤

Let's Keep The Traditions!

The dawn of a democratic revolution is upon us. Like it or not that's the truth.  So, if it happens that the day arrives sooner than we have expected, what's gonna become of our culture and traditions?  I am a revolutionary, always has been, always will be, and I am for change just like the majority but I choose to keep it within my guts.  Back to today's business, I am here to share a view about the fate of our beautiful and beloved culture and traditions. Let's not get rid of them. It's the only thing we have. The only thing that makes us stand out from the rest of the world. With our culture and traditions, we are not just unique but exceptional👌,  outstanding, we are the best and more. We are our heritage. What will become of our toledoths? Stories aren't enough to narrate the story of my indegeneuity. Let's not fail them and our ancestors. If we choose to discard the current governing bodies, let's not dispose our humanity, and way of life. That...
